BARRIE, ON – Persistent rain throughout Saturday forced a postponement of NCATS presented by Mobil 1 activity at Barrie Speedway to Sunday.
Qualifying for the Hudco Electric Supply 300 presented by G Oil is now set to get underway at 11:30 a.m. ET, with the green flag scheduled for 1:30 p.m. The gates will be open to the public at 11 a.m.
The area was hit with light showers throughout the morning, clearing up just in time for a one-hour practice session. A consistent mist fell upon the area moments after the conclusion of practice, with the decision to postpone activity coming just before 9 p.m.
The Hudco Electric Supply 300 is the 11th of 12 events on the series calendar. D.J. Kennington will look to build on his slim, three-point lead over Scott Steckly when action resumes on Sunday. Steckly posted the fastest lap in Saturday’s practice, while Kennington was seventh quick.
