Edmonton, AB – The NASCAR Canada Series heads to Alberta this Saturday, July 25 for the Dorman Products 150 and Carlyle Tools 150. Drivers will take on the tight one-quarter-mile asphalt oval at Edmonton International Raceway in a doubleheader event.
Last year, Marc-Antoine Camirand, in the No. 96 GM Paille/Chevrolet Canada, earned the victory in a thrilling race featuring six lead changes among four different drivers. Donald Theetge, who started from the pole position behind-the-wheel of the No. 80 Vulcain/Max Leclerc Construction Chevrolet, finished second, while Kevin Lacroix completed the podium in third in the No. 74 Valvoline/NAPA Racing Chevrolet.
Three drivers from Western Canada will be in action this Saturday. Local Alberta driver Jamie Krzysik is set to make his first start of the season in the No. 98 Curb Records/Darkhorse Trailers/Strode’s Ford. Saskatchewan’s Matthew Shirley returns for his first NASCAR Canada Series start of 2026 in the No. 28 CRUSH-IT Hard Iced Tea Dodge, while fellow Saskatchewan driver Rob Naismith will make his sixth start of the season aboard the No. 10 MRN Racing Chevrolet.
Saturday’s schedule begins with the NASCAR Canada hauler parade departing the Royal Hotel at 7:45 a.m. MT (9:45 a.m. ET).
Initial practice is scheduled from 12:05 p.m. to 12:40 p.m. MT (2:05 p.m. to 2:40 p.m. ET), followed by final practice from 1:30 p.m. to 2:05 p.m. MT (3:30 p.m. to 4:05 p.m. ET). Qualifying will take place from 4:40 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. MT (6:40 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. ET). Fans will have the opportunity to meet the drivers during the autograph session from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. MT (7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. ET).
The green flag for the Dorman Products 150 is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. MT (9:10 p.m. ET), with the Carlyle Tools 150 following at 9:10 p.m. MT (11:10 p.m. ET).
