June 30, 2014 THOROLD, ONTARIO – If you love trucks – you will love Merrittville Speedway July 5th!

Modern Corporation’s 9th Annual Trucker Show ‘N Shine Night at the Thorold DIRTcar sanctioned oval will fill the grandstand area with trucks of all kinds before they take to the track for the annual Show and Shine Competition that is voted on by the fans.

Peterbilt … Kenworth … Freightliner … Mack … Sterling … International … Western Star – you’ve got to have a favourite! Or maybe it’s the paint and the chrome … or just a cool horn!

“It always makes for an awesome night,” relates (Merrittville GM) Erica Bicknell, “some of the finest looking trucks around … you’ve got to salute them .. they work during the week in some of the worst conditions … but they take pride in keeping them looking so good … especially when they come to the track.”

Modern Corporation believes that preserving the environment should be a priority for every home and business and through its involvement at Merrittville Speedway – invites everyone to join the race to reduce, reuse and recycle.

“We are happy to assist Modern in achieving their goals,” challenges Bicknell-Jones, ” everyone can make a difference in saving and preserving the environment for future generations.”
