STRATHROY, ONTARIO (February 13, 2015) – Everything is ready to race for Lyle Williams and his Top Dragster entry in the Quick 32 Sportsman Series for 2015.
“We really have not changed anything with the car,” noted Williams, who raced in several events last season and plans to compete more this year. “The car is ready to race.”
Powered by a supercharged 526-cubic inch Veney Hemi, the Williams Racing dragster is capable of sub six-second runs at speeds of 230 mph.
The engine sits between the rails of a 300-inch Race Tech Race Cars chassis with a Kobelco 14-71 Top Fuel supercharger and an Enderle fuel injection system. A Coan Engineering Powerglide sits behind the engine.
Crew chief for the Strathroy-based team is MaryAnn Williams, and Dalton Symon, Al DeBoer and Lori Rocheleau comprise the rest of the team.

Williams and the team will be ready for the Quick 32 Sportsman Series opener at the Grand Bend Motorplex May 15-17, one of several events on the 2015 calendar.
