Toronto, Ontario (February 28, 2014) – Timed to coincide with the start of his 2014 Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS campaign, Canadian racer Luke Chudleigh is proud to announce the launch of his new-look website, located online at: www.lukechudleigh.com
The 18-year-old from Milton, Ontario was also back behind the wheel of his Tech1 Racing entry this week as the French-based team joined the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 field at Spain’s Motorland Aragon Circuit – with Luke set to enter three Eurocup races in addition to his full season in the FR2.0 ALPS Series.
While returning to his ‘office’, where Chudleigh hopes to build on a promising 2013 rookie season in Europe, the racer revamped his online presence courtesy of an overhaul of his previous website.
The revised site now features a much more visually appealing design and a clearer layout for fans and curious observers to browse through. Featuring stronger visuals and set to showcase Luke’s progress in Europe as he targets a progression through the competitive ranks and a path to Formula One, the website is another brand extension for Chudleigh along with a revised logo for the 2014 campaign.
Back on-track, the Canadian’s first outing behind the wheel this year proved to be a positive affair in Spain on the 23/ 24 February. Focused on finding a baseline for new parts and working on the car’s aero package, Luke enjoyed a return to action and the opportunity to dial himself back into the car and to work with his engineer, Yann Coudouret.
“There’s no better feeling than being back in a race car,” enthused Chudleigh. “The first test was focusing on some of the basics to get us going for the season but we showed some good speed despite not going for a run on new tires at the end of the test. I was happy to get back into the swing of things and work through our test program along with my Tech1 Racing team-mates.”
On his new website Luke remarked; “I hope visitors to my site enjoy the changes we’ve made and keep coming back for my updates as the season in Europe gets underway. I’ve got a lot going on but I really want my website to be a focal point for race fans, partners, media and so on. I wanted it to reflect my personality as well as my desire to do things the right way. I love how it looks and hope people enjoy it!”
The 2014 Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS Series kicks off with a double-header round, 4th-6th April at the illustrious Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola, Italy. Chudleigh’s first of three 2014 Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 appearances will follow later that month at the Motorland Aragon round in Spain, 25th-27th April.
