TORONTO, ON (July 14, 2014) – Move Motorsports Management (Canadian formula car series promoters) and Lubrico Warranty jointly announced today a sponsorship agreement of the popular Toyo Tires F1600 Championship.

The partnership aligns the Series – a launching pad for young Canadian racing talent – with Lubrico, one of Canada’s most respected warranty service providers to new and used car dealers and car buyers across the country.

“We are delighted to become an Official Partner of the Toyo Tires F1600 Championship Series and to help contribute to it’s continued growth in Canada,” stated Lubrico President Terry Fletcher. “Our business is rooted in the automotive industry, and the ability to be integrated into a series steeped in Canadian racing excellence was a natural fit for us. Our company has been providing exceptional service to Canadians for nearly as long as the F1600’s have been providing the launching pad for our Canadian racing heroes’ careers. We are very proud to help continue that legacy.”

In addition to the series partnership Lubrico will be named the presenting sponsor of the series participation in the Honda Indy Toronto, July 18-20.

“We are very excited to welcome Lubrico to the series’ sponsorship family,” stated Jason Sharpe, Promoter of the Toyo Tires F1600 Championship. “Terry (Fletcher) is a passionate racer himself and supports the sport on a number of levels. His commitment to the series will go a long way to helping us continue to deliver the message that we offer the best training ground for young drivers while also providing a highly competitive and fun environment for Canadian grassroots formula car racers”

Lubrico is no stranger to motorsports. Since 1990 the company’s President, Terry Fletcher, has been competing in and supporting GT racing in Canada. Most recently he created the Lubrico Warranty V8 Trophy Race Series, a club level series for any V8 powered car competing at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park.
