Trois-Rivieres (Quebec, Canada) – July 23rd, 2013.- Behind the wheel of the #47 Dodge WeatherTech Canada/ Bellemare, Louis-Philippe Dumoulin will take part in the seventh event of the season, which will occur on Saturday July 27th on the oval track of the St-Eustache Autodrome. Synonymous with victory for the Quebecer, it is also in St-Eustache that he won a Formula Ford race in 2002, as well as the series’ championship of the same year.
Louis-Philippe Dumoulin can count, among other things, on the expertise of his team to quickly adapt to this new track.

“I can’t wait to be there. It’s a completely new track, which is somewhat similar to the one in Barrie, Ontario. It’ll be the first time on this track, and with our performance in previous events, I am confident that we have the potential to move forward and offer a great show to our fans in Quebec. Especially considering that the WeatherTech Canada/Bellemare crew knows the track, as well as the best strategy to use”, shares the Dumoulin Competition driver.
This second event in Quebec marks the mid-season point of the NASCAR Canadian Tire series. With his third place in the standings, Louis-Philippe Dumoulin is in a good position, and talks about the importance of strategizing and crossing the finish lines in the lead.
“We have to gain the maximum amount of points to be in a good place ahead of the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières event. Scott Steckly is tied with me, and Kennington only has a five-point lead. We reached the mid-point of the season and nothing is in the bag yet, there are only two road circuit events, and four oval races to go.”
