Stroud, ON (June 6, 2017)- Another night in the books brings a solid result for Lisa DeLeeuw as she scored her third straight top-20 finish in a row.
She started off the night solidly, escaping both wrecks in her first heat en route to a seventh-place finish. She then backed it up with an impressive fourth-place finish in her second qualifier. With a pair of solid qualifying results, she’d automatically qualify for the 25-lap feature.
Starting second for the 25-lap feature, she fell back a couple spots early, running fourth as of Lap 3. With the faster cars making their way to the front, she dropped back a couple more spots, falling in line mid-pack. Despite this, she continued to post strong laps throughout the entire feature, crossing the finish line in 17th for her third straight top-20 finish.
With consistency to start off the season, she currently sits 14th in the points standings. She will hope to continue improving this weekend on Saturday, June 10, in the fifth night of points of competition.
