STROUD, ON (September 5, 2017)- Despite battling hard from the drop of the green flag on Saturday night at Sunset Speedway, Lisa DeLeeuw fell just short of placing in the top-10 once again.
She started off the night solidly, placing seventh in her first heat, followed by a sixth-place finish in her second qualifier.
Starting 16th for the feature, she would suffer some damage on the start with some contact, but was able to keep on going. She began to make her way forward, running ninth with seven laps to go. Unfortunately, the final laps did not go as she wanted as she’d fade back a bit, crossing the finish line in 11th.
She will return to Sunset Speedway this weekend on Saturday, September 9 in the 16th night of points competition.
DeLeeuw and DY Racing are proud to be supported by Partimer Sign, Skytec Rentals, Solex Steel, Safeway Towing, BDS Enterprises, Can-alignment, Scentsy Independent Consultant, Jays Signs and Graphics, P&A Plastics, Higher Ground Landscaping, and Cabral Racing Promotions.
