(Halifax, NS – May 24, 2013) The Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour (PST) and Linde Canada are pleased to announce that they have partnered once again for the 2013 season. Linde will continue their support of the top level of Atlantic Canadian stock car racing by backing the Linde Most Laps Led Award, while also supplying a Thermal Arc Fabricator 211i Welder for use by the teams on the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour during the season.

The Linde Most Laps Led Award goes to the driver in each feature that leads the most circuits in the main event. Craig Slaunwhite (Terence Bay, NS) led the most laps last season to collect the end of season cash bonus from Linde while six different drivers pocketed individual race bonuses throughout the season by leading the most laps in their respective features.

Linde also supplies the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour with a Thermal Arc Fabricator 211i Welder for use on the Tour throughout the season. The welder is transported to each track by Pro Stock Tour officials and is available to the teams should they need it throughout the duration of race day. At the season ending awards gala for the series, the welder is given away via a random draw of full-time competitors on the Tour. Terry Dougay (Albany, PE) was the lucky recipient of the welder at the 2012 awards banquet held in Moncton, NB last November.

“It’s great to have Linde Canada back as the sponsor of the Most Laps Lead Award on the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour,” said Ken Cunning, General Manager of the Tour. “They are a great company and we look forward to working with Gary Jamieson and the folks at Linde again this year.”

“Linde Canada is excited about our continued partnership with the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour and wishes every one a great racing season,” said Gary Jamieson, sales representative for Linde Canada Ltd.
