After multiple cautions slowed the start of the Cosco Haulage DIRTcar Sportsman feature, Matt Sharpe was able to get away from his outside pole position but was being challenged by Adam Leslie, Greg Panunte, Gary Lindberg and Brad Rouse early on. On lap 10, Leslie was able to get around Sharpe for the race lead. The leaders would pull away from Rouse just before the halfway point of the feature event. Chris Bellamy, who originally started on the pole, spun in turn three to slow the field down once again on lap 12. On the restart, Panunte was able to pass Sharpe for the runner up spot and began to chase down Leslie. On a lap 17 restart, Cody McPherson went three wide with Rouse and Sharpe to move into fourth place. Greg Panunte was able to get around Leslie to take over the race lead on lap 18. Matt Sharpe’s great run came to an end after a lap 23 spin in turn four that also collected Chris Bellamy. The two lap shootout saw Gary Lindberg get around Panunte on the final lap to collect the victory. Greg Panunte would finish in second and was followed to the line by Adam Leslie, Brad Rouse and Cody McPherson completed the top five.
Ken Winfield and Rob Pietz showed the Peters Excavating UMP/DIRTcar Late Models to the green flag for their feature and it was Pietz showing the way. After a lap five spin for Adam Ferri, Pietz had Jorden Peters right next to him for the restart and Peters went right to the point. Pietz tried several times to regain the lead while Paul Grigsby and Rob Ledingham went side by side for several laps for third place. Jorden Peters would go on to what would have been his second win of the season but was too light across the scales, thus giving Rob Pietz his first career Late Model victory.
Paul Reichel and Cory Turner led the J.C. Auto Street Stocks to the green flag for their 20 lap feature and it was Cory turner leading the opening circuit. Ryan Turner, Reichel and James Thompson went three wide for second with Ryan Turner getting the advantage and started to go after his brother Cory. Jason Fontaine snuck underneath Ryan Turner to take over second on lap five with Reichel and Lee Winger racing inside the top five. Ryan Turner and Fontaine went side by side for several laps. On a lap seven restart, Ryan Turner went to the outside and took over the race lead from his older brother Cory. Fontaine went to work on Cory Turner and passed Turner on the outside to take over second place on lap 12. Ryan Turner was able to hold off his brother Cory to score a one-two finish for the Turner Brothers Racing team. Jason Fontaine, James Thompson and Lee Winger followed the Turner’s to the start-finish line.
Nate Monahan and Dave Small led the Trackside Decals Mini Stocks to the green flag and the field went three wide on lap one with “the Big Guy” Dave Small leading lap one. Evan Curtis, point’s leader going into the nights action, went three wide and moved into second place on lap four. The top five went single file and pulled away from the field as Small continued to show the way over Curtis, Tyler Lafantaisie, Kyle Rothwell and Kyle Pelrine racing inside the top five. Lafantaisie and Curtis went three wide for the lead and Lafantaisie was able to take over the lead on lap ten. Lafantaisie continued to lead the field as Kyle Rothwell went to work on Dave Small for second place. As Small kept the runner up spot, Kyle Pelrine got around Rothwell for third on the final circuit. Lafantaisie would collect the win over Small, Pelrine, Rothwell and Jason Coutu completed the top five.
Taylor Vanderzanden and qualifying winner Sam Pennacchio led the field of Mike Knapp Ford Pro 4 Trucks to the double green flags and the front row locked front wheels at the end of lap one as Greg Haegens moved underneath the two to take over the lead. On the restart, Haegens was able to keep his lead as Mike Toovey passed Andy Imbeault to take over the runner up spot. Toovey then went to work on Haegens and the lead duo in the point’s chase went side by side but Haegens was able to maintain his lead advantage. Pennacchio drove his way back through the field and moved into second but it was too late as Greg Haegens held Pennacchio off for the win.
Olivier Larocque and Brad Alward were on the front row for the Frontier Auto Dismantlers Pure Stocks and it was third place starter Marcel Beauregard getting the advantage at the end of lap number one after going three wide in turns one and two. Seven time feature winner Sam Iftody passed divisional point’s leader Kyle Tomaski for second place on lap four. Iftody and Beauregard made contact on lap six but Beauregard was able to keep the race lead. However on lap seven, Iftody was able to get to the race lead and Tomaski was able to get around Beauregard for second place. Iftody was able to pull away from Tomaski to pick up his sixth straight, and eighth win of the season. “It was rough out there tonight but bring it on, I am ready to have a good time and see what happens” said Iftody in victory lane.
