Saint-Eustache, (July 10, 2019) – Kevin Lacroix and the Bumper to Bumper team are gearing up for one of only two urban track events of the season in the NASCAR Pinty’s series. The driver of the # 74 Bumper to Bumper / Total/ Gates / PFC Brakes car will once again attempt to conquer the streets of Toronto during the Pinty’s Grand Prix of Toronto.

In 2017, Lacroix won the action-packed race that took place around the Exhibition Place. In 2018, he was involved in an accident during the qualifying session, taking away his chances at winning again. This year, he is confident that the team will be on top of the game.

“We are not going to repeat the same mistakes as last year,” said Lacroix, who had to change cars for the race last year when the accident destroyed his Dodge. “I love this track, the imperfections of the streets make the races interesting because we have to adapt our braking and acceleration.”

The streets of Toronto always attract the best drivers in the country, and the majority of the field covets victory. Drivers in the Top 10 have all raced on this track at some point in their career, although Lacroix has an advantage over most of them since he has already competed in Star Mazda on this track.”

“This event will be the 4th race of the season, and I am the championship leader, but by only one point. The title is not won in advance so everything has to go perfectly. The slightest mistake could cost us dearly. I will make sure to give a good show to all those who will be present on the site. “

“It’s always a pleasure to come race in Toronto because the atmosphere is very festive. The fans are engaged, and they like to visit the paddocks and interact with us. It is a big event because we share the track with the IndyCar series, which attracts fans from across Canada and the United States.”
