Sauble Beach, ON (August 2, 2017)- Despite running into some motor issues during the second half of the feature at Sauble Speedway, Kevin Bridge was able to hang in there for a top-five finish.
The defending division champion once again showed speed in qualifying, kicking off the night with a fifth-place finish in the first heat, followed by a victory in his second qualifier.
Starting fifth in the feature, he made his way up to the fourth position and was set to continue moving forward with his sights set on a fourth feature victory. However, that was when the problems began, resulting in Bridge fading back to fifth, where he’d remain until the checkered flag flew.
The team has already began working towards diagnosing and fixing the problem, with hopes of being at Sauble Speedway this weekend on Sunday, August 6 for the Battle at the Beach.
