@Sunset_Speedway • Stroud, ON (August 5, 2016)- On Saturday night at Sunset Speedway, Jade Franklin posted another top-10 finish as he ran up front throughout the feature en route to a sixth.

The teenager started off the night solidly by finishing second in his heat, followed by a fourth place finish in the Dash for Cash.

Starting ninth in the feature, Franklin moved up to seventh by Lap 4, battling with Ryan Semple for the spot at Lap 10. Semple was able to clear Franklin on Lap 13, with Jordan Howse getting alongside right after. Howse was make his way by at Lap 17, bumping Franklin back to the ninth spot. He ran solidly just inside the top-10, able to avoid a spinning car in front of him with three laps to go to move up two spots to seventh.

He was then able to make a pass on the final restart to cross the finish line in the sixth spot. Notably, he has posted nine straight top-10s at Sunset Speedway this year.

On Sunday, Franklin headed to Sauble Speedway in hopes of another strong run. He finished fourth in his heat to start 10th in the feature, moving up to ninth in the early laps. Unfortunately, just after an early race restart, Franklin began to slow on Lap 11, followed by stopping in turn two as a result of a broken rear gear.

Franklin and Jaded Motorsports are supported by Destination RV, Nitro Industrial Sales, Duivenvoorden Haulage Ltd, Adco Tires and Sales Incorporated, Stefco Racing Engines, King, North River Motorsports and Discovery Dream Homes this season.
