In August, 2022, Tony Spiteri was announced as the General Manager of NASCAR Canada. It’s a new position that will oversee all components of NASCAR in this country, including competition and marketing. Spiteri is a racing and automotive enthusiast, who many will know from his time with Pinty’s when he was the driving force behind that company’s entry as a sponsor – and eventually the title sponsor – of Canada’s national stock car series. We spoke to Tony in the days following the news.
