Sauble Speedway up-and-comer ‘Prime Time’ Josh Stade (above, by TW Robarts) will return to action at Sauble Speedway on June 14th after the speedway’s 4-week layoff. The Chesley, ON driver will look to earn his first win in almost 2 years, as he hopes to climb into championship contention alongside current point leader Jason Parker and 2-time defending champion Scott McTeer. Former Lucas Oil TQ Can-Am Midget champion Daniel Bois (above, by Thompson Photography) will roll in to Peterborough Speedway on June 14th with hopes of earning his first win of the 2014 season. The Muskoka-based driver had this to say about Round 3 of the tour at Peterborough Speedway:
“Peterborough Speedway is by far my best track, I love the way you have to attack that place. You have to set the car up a bit loose and drive every lap on the edge there, which is perfect for my style. It’s important for our team to come home with a strong finish at Peterborough, after our struggles at Sunset. In my opinion, this is the perfect speedway to regain our confidence at. I haven’t been there since 2010 – but the track has always been good to me. In 2008, we swept all 3 events at Peterborough, and then won twice more in 2009. I can’t wait to unload there and work towards getting our program back on track”
