Third generation competitor Chase Wilson announced today he will take a gigantic step forward with his racing program in 2015. The former Quarter Midget standout – son of OSCAAR Super Late Model competitor George Wilson – will race fulltime at Sunset Speedway in the Ltd. Late Model division next season. The 11-year old will campaign a chassis formerly driven by Sunset feature winner Sean Cronan.
The Sault Ste. Marie, ON youngster is the youngest registered competitor on the Sunset Ltd. Late Model roster, and will enter the season as a driver to keep an eye on after several strong runs – including a feature victory – behind the wheel of an Outlaw Four Cylinder at Laird International Raceway last Summer. The team is actively seeking sponsorship support to ensure Chase can follow the entirety of the Sunset schedule in 2015. Interested parties can contact the team via their Facebook page.
