London Recreational Racing’s Shawn Chenoweth has unveiled a new look for the Thunder Car he will split with teammate Brad Collison in 2015. The pair will work together to make a run for the Flamboro Speedway championship this season, alongside fellow contender Mark Burbridge and Jeff Bean. ‘The Mastodon’ will make his first start of the season this Saturday, April 25th at Flamboro Speedway’s season opening Thunder Car invitational. Here’s our first look at former Lucas Oil TQ Can-Am Midget standout David Balych’s newly acquired OSCAAR Modified Tour entry. Balych, a longtime open-wheel veteran, acquired the Troyer chassis from multi-time tour winner Brent McLean at the conclusion of the 2014 season. The Caledon, ON driver has confirmed his plans to run the entirety of the tour, with hopes of earning 2015 Rookie of the Year honours. Balych’s 2015 efforts are made possible thanks to Scotiabank, Mosaic Investments, Knowledge & Needles, Buzzbomb Race Paint, Lucas Oil and Kake Kreations.
Lucas Oil Sportsman Cup freshman Brandt Graham has released his new look for the 2015 season. The second-generation competitor – a former Mini Stock division regular – will follow the cross-province LOSC tour fulltime this summer. The Orono, ON driver will join fellow former Mini Stock frontrunners Mike Nelson and Brad Martin in his search for his first career Sportsman feature victory. Delaware Speedway Super Stock sophomore Adam Swales has sent along this ‘in progress’ look at his off-season preparations. The St. Thomas, ON driver looks to race fulltime at Delaware in 2015, in a talent-laden division that already includes headliners Branden Verhoeven, Shae Gemmell and Matt Robblee. Swales will carry sponsorship from Ron’s Auto Service and Cairns Services throughout the 2015 season. Fans can follow Adam on Twitter @ASwales18.
