Young guns Tyler Puchalski and Jordan Cosco led the field of PC Works DIRTcar Sportsman to the green flag for their 25 lap feature event with Cosco showing the way. Chris Storm would loop his racer to bring out the caution on lap one. The restart saw Cosco leading Brad Rouse and Gary Lindberg. Lindberg would pass Cosco for second on lap seven and begin chasing Rouse. Darrell Farraway spun in turn four to bring out the caution on lap 13 to slow the field down. With Rouse having the race in command, Lindberg would start to work his way back within car lengths of the leader after battling with Cosco, Jeff Armstrong and Austin Wood. In the closing laps, Lindberg would gain ground on Rouse as they encountered lap traffic. Lindberg would then use the lap traffic to reel in Rouse and then pass the former Mr. DIRTcar Sportsman Champion when the white flag flew over the field to take over the lead. Lindberg would then drive away from Rouse on the final circuit to pick up his first win at Humberstone in 2015, and third in the Niagara Region in the early stages of the 2015 season.
Jorden Peters and Colton Ledingham were on the front row for the Pinty’s Delicious Foods RUSH Late Models 20 lap feature go with Peters showing the way with Dennis Lunger Jr and John Waters running in third. Just laps later, Waters would get around Lunger and then clear Peters to take over the lead on lap four. Colton Ledingham slowed the field for the first time on lap five after loosing the handle of his racer. During the caution period, defending divisional champion Paul Grigsby suffered a flat right rear tire and went pitside. The restart saw Waters continuing to show the way but Lunger was closing in on the Whitesville, NY pilot. On lap seven, Dennis Lunger Jr would take over the race lead away from Waters. Ken Winfield would spin in turn three to bring out the caution once again just two laps later. The restart saw Lunger and Western New York racer Adam Sixt in the top two and the two would pull away from the field. The yellow would fly one more time on lap 13 as Ledingham and Pennacchio would synchronize spin in turn four. Lunger would pull away from Adam Sixt and Jorden Peters on the last restart to take home the checkered flag.
Chris Crawford and Jim Lampman led the field of JC Auto Street Stocks to the green flag for their 20 lap feature event with Crawford showing the way. Lee Winger moved passed Lampman to take over second on lap two. Winger would then reel in Crawford and would go side by side for the lead. Winger would eventually take over the lead on lap 10. Fontaine and Crawford would battle for second with Fontaine taking over the runner up spot just past the halfway mark to set his sights on Winger. The season’s first yellow would come out on lap 15 as Vince Fargnoli looped his racer in turn four. The restart would see Winger and Fontaine battle for the lead. In the closing laps, Winger pushed out of turn two to give Fontaine the lead. Fontaine would go on and hold off Winger to grab the win.
Rob Goulding and Len Wiley led the field of Cosco Haulage Mini Stocks to the green flag for their season lid-lifter with Goulding showing the way from the drop of the green flag. Goulding would pull away as Leroy Buscumb, Wiley, Kyle Haynes and Jason Coutu all battled for the second position for much of the race. Goulding would pull away from the field to pick up the victory in an event that went from green to checker.
Terry Ronning and Frank Perry were on the front row for the 15 lap feature for the Mike Knapp Ford Pro 4 Trucks with Ronning showing the way early on. Perry would take over the lead on lap three from Ronning as Craig Vlasic would take over the lead just one lap later on lap four. Vlasic slowed on the outside groove of turns one and two on lap nine and Perry would regain the lead after Vlasic suffered a flat right rear tire. Perry would get pressured for the lead by veteran Danny Wurster and the lead duo would battle for the lead for the duration of the event. Perry, a second year driver from Burlington would hold off the veteran Wurster to pick up the victory.
