Mooresville, NC- November 3, 2017- Premium Motorsports announced today that Uxbridge, Ontario native Jason Hathaway will make his second NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start at Phoenix International Speedway November 10th, competing in the Lucas Oil 150.
Hathaway ran his first NCWTS race in 2017 at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park this past September. Hathaway pulled a double header that weekend running both his #3 Kubota/Choko Chevrolet NASCAR Pinty’s Series machine and the #66 Choko Kubota NCWTS truck.
Primary partner support for the race at PIR will be a joint venture between Kubota Canada Limited and Kubota Tractor Corporation. Raybestos, Choko Authentic Apparel and Fast Eddie Speedwear will also help out in the effort for the 150-lap event.
“Kubota Canada Ltd., it’s staff and dealers, coast to coast are thrilled to partner with our sister company, Kubota Tractor Corporation to sponsor the Premium Motorsports #15 entry, driven by Jason Hathaway, in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, November 10th in Phoenix, AZ. “This single race co-sponsorship marks the first time our two Kubota companies have joined together to promote our brand in an internationally televised sporting event,” says Rob Allison, National Brand Manager for Kubota Canada, “and I hope it’s not the last. NASCAR is such a good fit for our brand to connect with both fans and race teams. The BtoB opportunities are significant.”
Hathaway has been a regular competitor in the NASCAR Pinty’s Series in his #3 Kubota Chevrolet since the inception of the NASCAR Pinty’s Series in Canada. Hathaway was named NASCAR Pinty’s Series Most Popular Driver in 2015 and 2016, the only driver in series history to achieve the title consecutively. He has recorded 8 Series wins, 34 Top 5’s and 73 top 10’s in his NASCAR Pinty’s Series efforts.
“We are excited to be making our second start in the Truck series at Phoenix. Kubota’s joint support was a huge uplift to my opportunity to field the truck and we are proud to be able to display the Power of Orange colours on the #15 Kubota Tractor Chevrolet next Friday.“ said Hathaway.
The Lucas Oil 150 will air Friday November 10th at 8:30 pm EST on FOX Sports1 in both Canada and the US.
