EDMONTON, AB – After an extremely successful debut venture with the International Hot Rod Association’s Nitro Jam series in 2012, the IHRA is pleased to announce that Good Vibrations Motorsports will expand its presence in 2013 by returning as presenting sponsor of the Arizona Nitro Jam in addition to Nitro Jam events at San Antonio and Edmonton.

Good Vibrations Motorsports, based in Whittier, California, was founded by former Funny Car driver Jim Maher in 1989 as a home for high-performance racing products. With Maher’s background in drag racing and his commitment to excellence in his products and services, Maher and the Good Vibrations team are looking forward to once again partnering with the fastest growing drag racing property in the country for three Nitro Jam events in 2013.

“My staff & I are looking forward to attending selected Nitro Jams this season. We will have a hospitality area set up with big screen TVs, product displays and plenty of bench racing,” said Jim Maher, owner of Good Vibrations Motorsports. “Racers and fans are welcome to stop and check out the newer products and sharpen their skills on our drag racing simulator. We will also have technical staff on hand to answer any questions you may have.”

Good Vibrations specializes in supercharged applications and mechanical fuel injection. They offer premium quality products at very competitive prices and customer service that can’t be matched.

Good Vibrations founder Maher is also an avid drag racing fan and Funny Car racer with multiple victories to his credit making him a perfect fit for the high-horsepower world of Nitro Jam.

The Good Vibrations team will also bring with them an interactive hospitality area with big screen televisions, product displays and even a racing simulator open to the public.

Good Vibrations Motorsports will return as presenting sponsor for the Arizona Nitro Jam March 23 at Southwestern International Raceway and will add the San Antonio Nitro Jam April 5-6 at San Antonio Raceway and the MOPAR Rocky Mountain Nitro Jam Nationals July 5-7 at Castrol Raceway to their 2013 racing lineup.

“Good Vibrations is the perfect partner for Nitro Jam. When they came on board in 2012 they brought with them a wonderful enthusiasm for the sport, the fans and the racers that was felt by everyone at the events,” said Aaron Polburn, President and General Manager of IHRA Motorsports. “They are a great company with even greater people and we are pleased to be partnering with them again this year. Fans will definitely want to stop by their hospitality area and check out their products and very cool interactive area.”

Returning to drag racing’s roots, Nitro Jam presents the world’s quickest, fastest and most exciting race machines all in a jam-packed show featuring nitro-powered machines, jets and everything that makes drag racing the most exciting sport in the world. The 2013 Nitro Jam lineup will feature everything from Top Fuel Dragsters to AMSOIL Prostalgia Nitro Funny Cars, Fuel Altereds, jets, fireworks and more.
