Since 1975, there has been a mid-March show at Toronto’s International Centre featuring custom cars, hot rods and racing vehicles of all kinds. Known over the years as Motion, Performance World, MegaSpeed and now Motorama, the show is the biggest of its kind in Canada and is the official season kick-off for car and racing enthusiasts.
As you know, the ongoing pandemic forced the promoters of Motorama to take a year off in 2021. In reaction to that unfortunate reality, Inside Track Motorsport News has produced a special feature celebrating the nearly 50-year history of this great show.
Presented by MOPAR, the special 52-page section includes firsthand memories from people who were involved in the show going back to the beginning. Many of these stories have never been told before, including memories of Motion founder ‘Dizzy’ Dean Murray and Performance World General Manager Larry King.

Also included are more than 100 photos featuring past Grand Champions, show programs and memorabilia, celebrity guests, club displays and editorial spotlighting prominent Motorama exhibitors.
There’s also extensive content on the history of motorsports at the various shows, with dozens of racing pictures from past events.
