HAMILTON, ON – On Monday, August 19, Flamboro Speedway will play host to the Gold Rush 100 with NASCAR driver Kenny Wallace. Last year’s race was an exciting event as Jason Shaw chose to start at the rear after qualifying second fastest and made his way through the field and managed to make his way to second place.
Paul Howse was the driver to strike gold taking the 100 lap race and taking home the $5000 first place prize. Kenny Wallace drove a great race and came home in third.
This year Kenny says. “I’m coming to collect the Reward.” The reward is an extra $5,000 to whoever qualifies fastest and chooses to go to the rear of the field and make their way to the front and take the checkered flag. Make plans to join us as the best Late Model drivers in the province will be on hand, all with one thing on their mind… taking home $10,000!
