VAUDREUIL, QC – Fast EV, an alloy wheel brand owned by Fastco Canada is announcing the introduction of its first forged alloy wheel designed for Tesla vehicles. The EV04 is a direct replacement fitment for all Tesla Model 3 and Model Y applications. Forged aluminum is ideal for applications where performance and safety are critical, but a lighter weight metal is needed for performance or energy efficiency. Built for speed and performance, forged wheels are extremely lightweight, very strong and exceptionally stiff.
This first Fast EV fully forged monobloc model, inspired by the Zero G wheel with further optimization of the spoke design, results in a wheel that is four pounds lighter than the original equipment in 20×9.0 size, offering a 15% weight reduction, resulting in a better performance and energy efficiency.
Furthermore the 820 kg load rating makes it considerably stronger and also allows it to be certified for use on all versions of Model Y. The EV04 is available in 19×8.5 or 20×9.0 for Model 3 and 19×9.5 or 20×10.0 for Model Y.
Furthermore, the 19×9.5 and 20×10.0 sizes may be used as rear staggered fitments on all versions of Model 3 and the 19×9.5 can also be used as a “square” fitment on Model 3 with tires up to 265/35R19 for enthusiasts seeking the maximum performance for street or track use.
This new lightweight wheel is not just limited to Tesla applications. Thanks to Fastco’s in-house CNC machining center, the center bores can be custom machined to fit a wide variety of other vehicles with a 5×114.3 bolt pattern.
The EV04 will be offered in Space Grey, Satin Black and Brushed Aluminum and at a starting MSRP of $999.99 CAD per wheel.
