Final Wednesday Has Karters Adding To Win Totals

@Merrittville •Thursday August 4, 2016 THOROLD, ONTARIO – The final Wednesday Night of the 2016 Lucas Oil Weekly Karting Series at Merrittville Speedway had a lot of familiar faces visit St. Catharines Discount Auto Parts Victory Lane.

Two drivers would take home their third wins of the season – Cohen Corbett and John Farnan Lindberg in the Tim Phillips Garage St. Catharines Discount Auto Parts Novice 2 and Cassell Manufacturing Senior Fun Divisions respectively.

Three other drivers would earn their fifth, sixth and seventh Features of the season – Jaedon Lawson, Owen Kaiser and Nigel Pendykoski in the Ed MacPherson Construction Junior 2, RCM Racing Equipment Junior 1 and Vansickle Pet Valu Novice 1 Divisions respectively.

In other Performance Manufacturing Divisional action, Dalton Slack and Travis Majuery continue to battle for the most feature wins overall. Slack won his ninth Superior PetroFuels Junior Restricted Feature while Travis Majuery leads all drivers after taking home his 11th Wilder Racing Engines Senior Animal Feature.

Kart Racing returns to Tuesday Nights on August 9. Pits Open at 5:30 and when the racing starts at 7 PM – Grandstand Admission is FREE.
