STROUD, ON (June 26, 2018)- Battling hard from the drop of the green flag, Ethan Constable scored a top-10 finish on Saturday night at Sunset Speedway.
Constable started off the night solidly, finishing sixth in the first heat despite some mid-race contact, followed by a fifth in the second qualifier.
Starting third for the 30-lap feature, he’d fall back in the initial stages of the event, slotting in line in sixth at Lap 7. He’d slip back a little more through the middle portion of the feature, running ninth at the halfway mark. It looked as though that’d be all she wrote for the feature, but he’d avoid some contact ahead of him on the last lap to move up to seventh. Restarting just outside of the top-10, he battled hard through the green-white-checkered, but was unable to make up much ground, crossing the finish line in 10th.
The team will look to re-group moving forward, hoping to get back to the top-five following a fourth and fifth to start the 2018 campaign.
Constable is proud to be supported by Lefroy Plumbing, Innisfil Garage Doors, Pumpmytank.ca, RTI Equipment Solutions, Sturdy Power Lines, and Mr. Auto Service.
