“It’s a great honor for us to have Ernie Irvan coming to Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park. We are glad to have the McClure family reuniting with the Irvan family with this special paint scheme, remembering the history that the two have together. It’s been a while since we have had a former Cup driver at our facility, and this is a great opportunity for fans to meet one. We are grateful to Ernie for coming, and for Eric McClure for working so hard to make this happen,” Josh Vanada explained.
The NASCAR K&N Pro Series East returns to Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park on Friday, July 7, with a Fan Fest, running from 5p-7p. The Fan Fest is open to the public at no charge.
