@Sunset_Speedway •Stroud, ON (July 28, 2016)- After being involved in an early race incident, Eric Yorke finished the 25-lap feature in 11th.

Yorke started off the night solidly with a fifth place finish in his heat, followed by a sixth place finish in the Fast Qualifier’s Dash.

Starting the feature in 10th, Yorke looked to be set to gain ground in the early stages. However, contact with Jake Watson on the frontstretch resulted in slight contact with the wall. Yorke pitted and after a quick look over of the car, he returned to the track at the tail of the field.

Restarting last, Yorke made up ground early, battling Chris Allard for 10th at Lap 9. The pair battled back and forth through the second half of the feature, though came up short as he crossed the finish line in 11th.

Special thanks to Can-Alignment Motorsports, Milton Napa Auto Parts, J&D Tire, Solex Steel, McKeown Collision, Partimer Signs, Ancaster Embroidery, Country Girl Designs, Cabral Racing Promotions and Skytec Rentals for their support.

Keep up with Yorke all season long at https://dyracing.wordpress.com and like the DY Racing facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/dyracing.
