WETASKIWIN, AB – EIR officials have released several important updates for competitors and teams ahead of the NAPA 300 Weekend on July 24–25.
Camping will be available at the Northwest County Lot, located less than 1.5 kilometres from the speedway. Racers planning to camp are asked to register with Loretta in advance.
The Friday night racing program will proceed as usual, with trailers permitted in the pit parking area during the event. However, all trailers must be removed from the pit area Friday night. Competitors racing on Saturday are required to relocate their trailers to the County Lot following Friday’s program.
Enduro competitors are reminded that all race cars must be checked in Friday evening. Cars will be parked along the back pit stalls, and no additional Enduro vehicles will be permitted into the pits on Saturday. Officials stress that all Enduro entries must be on site by Friday night.
Teams with vehicles currently stored in the pits that are not competing during the July 24–25 weekend are asked to move them following this Saturday’s event (July 18). While officials will do their best to create additional space in the rear pit area, racers are encouraged to take vehicles home if possible.
Enduro entry fees will include a reserved seat in Grandstand C, Section 2, Row 3 for the NAPA 300. The package covers one driver and two crew members. Any additional crew members will be required to purchase a general admission ticket in addition to their pit pass.
Meanwhile, registration remains open for the popular Pit Stop Challenge. There is no entry fee for the competition, but all team members must purchase a general admission ticket for the NAPA 300. Organizers say there are some exciting prizes up for grabs, and space remains for one more team to enter the challenge.
