Brantford, ON. (May 6, 2014)- The always fast Brennan Didero and his #24 Mid America Motorsports Chevy will return to the Lucas Oil Cup Series full time in 2014 flying the Champion Racing Oil banner as he did last year in his #24 Late Model.
Didero, now 27 years old, won the Rookie of the Year honors in the LOSC Series in 2010 at the same time becoming the first Driver to finish in the Top 10 of every event, which led him to a Top 5 overall finish in the standings that year. Brennan ventured away from the series to run some NASCAR events in Canada and competed full time in Late Models at Flamboro Speedway, taking home the Rookie Honors, before going on to win the Octoberfest Late Model Special there.
Didero will be returning to the series with new sponsorship in Champion Racing Oil, out of Missouri, represented by its Canadian Master Distributor, RNB Lubricants, the distributor for Champion Racing Oil located in Welland Ontario.
Team Owner Dave Didero said that they have been using the Champion Brands for more than two years now and feels they are the next best kept secret in racing as a truly, ‘racing focused product’.
“We have punished everything they make from Motor Oil to Brake Fluid to Gear Oil and it has proven to be the best performing products we have ever used in racing” says Didero.
The team looks forward to a long lasting relationship with Champion and will provide products and answer any questions at every race this year to fellow competitors and fans. Long-time associate sponsors Braemar Buildings, Hunco Signs, Steer Tech & Exhaust and MAM Racing Parts are back as always to help support the program.
New for 2014 is the introduction of the Teams new web sites which provide links to all of there Sponsors, Team information and Services, located at www.midamericamotorsports.ca and www.mamracingparts.ca
“We are looking forward to our return to the Series and racing hard – fender to fender, bumper to bumper, just all out racing, something that this series has been able to do since day one ” remarked Brennan.
The season will open at Sauble Speedway in June and end at Flamboro Speedway in October…. Its 5 months of great racing action that every Race Fan should be a part of…. Make sure you catch every Lucas Oil Sportsman Cup Race in 2014 to be a part of the excitement !!
