@DenverRacing • @LFRChassis • @newsmyrnaspdway • MOORESVILLE, NC – The LFR Driver Development Group is ready to drop the green flag on its inaugural season with two drivers who have a great history in the World Series of Asphalt at New Smyrna Speedway.

Denver Foran, a 17-year-old Canadian driver, will pilot the No. 00 MMD Mineral Sizing  Chevrolet for LFR.  Foran will return to the track where he made history in 2012 becoming the youngest Canadian to race in the World Series of Asphalt Racing; he also secured a track record that same year.

“I really like racing at New Smyrna Speedway,” said Foran.  “It’s one of the fastest tracks I race on and the faster the better!  It’s really competitive down there.  The track is fairly wide so there’s lots of racing room.”

“At the World Series this year I’m really hoping to advance in my driving abilities and achieve some higher goals I’ve set for myself,” continued Foran.  “The team is comprised of highly educated crew chief and crew members – so I’m excited to learn as much as I can.”

Foran will celebrate his 18th birthday on February 19 and would like to cap it off with a win that night in front of his family who plans to travel to attend that race.

Joey “Mooch” Mucciacciaro, a 17-year-old Wolocott, Connecticut native will drive the No. 45 Chevrolet in the World Series of Asphalt.  In 2013, Mucciacciaro made his NASCAR Late Model debut at the World Series of Asphalt event. In just his second start, he visited victory lane at New Smyrna Speedway and went on to secure two Top-5’s and five Top-10 finishes.

“It was a pretty crazy experience,” recalled Mucciacciaro of his win.  “I wanted to set realistic goals for myself – just keep the car in one piece and go for solid finishes.  But it was my second night ever in a late model and I was in victory lane.  It was pretty unforgettable!”

The 2015 World Series of Asphalt will be Muciacciaro’s third time at New Smyrna Speedway and he’s looking forward to being part of the LFR team.

“Working with this caliber of guys – Fuller, Fultz, Eury Jr. and Eury Sr. – I want to learn as much as I can and hold on to it for the rest of the season.  These guys have a lot of knowledge and will be great coaches.  I want to come out of this with a lot of knowledge that I can put to action for the rest of this year.”

As part of the LFR team, both drivers will share a coaching leadership team comprised of motorsports veterans Rob Fuller, Tony Eury Jr. and Jeff Fultz.

“I have been going to New Smyrna Speedway for over 20 years now and have had a lot of success at that track,” said Rob Fuller.  “I’m really looking forward to working with these two young drivers so that we can all get a jump start on our 2015 season.  We have two really good cars and two talented young drivers and am excited to get them both on the track.”
