BOWMANVILLE, ON (August 25, 2019) – Brett Moffitt made it two-for-two in NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series Playoff action, winning the Chevrolet Silverado 250 Sunday in a Chevrolet at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP).
Laval, QC’s Alex Tagliani was runner-up in a Toyota, with Ben Rhodes rounding out the top three in a Ford.
Canadian Stewart Friesen – the only Canuck to qualify for the NASCAR Playoffs – hung on to third spot in the Gander Trucks Playoff Chase with a seventh-place finish.

In NASCAR Pinty’s Series action for the TOTAL Quartz 200, Saint-Eustache, QC’s Kevin Lecroix continued his dominance at CTMP, winning his second Pinty’s race of the season at the Bowmanville, ON track and fifth of his career.

The Chevrolet Silverado 250 is the final major event of CTMP’s 2019 season, but there’s still plenty of great racing on tap this year, including the VRRA Vintage Motorcycle Festival, Labour Day weekend (Aug. 30- Sept. 1) and the CASC/CTMP Celebration of Motorsports, Oct. 5-6.
