Toronto, June 20, 2012 – After a challenging event in Montreal,the Canadian Touring Car Championship (CTCC) presented by Continental Tire heads back to the trackat Circuit ICAR in Mirabel for the next two Rounds.
Competitors will have a busy schedule as they are on the track beginning Saturday morning with a practice session followed by a qualifying session just before lunch. Round 5 will be held Saturday afternoon. Drivers will be back for practice Sunday morning, getting ready to compete for Round 6 of the Championship in the early after-noon. With the two first events of 2012 behind them, the competitors already have a good idea of who they are fighting against and how to challenge them. Having experienced changing conditions during the last event, the competitors are hoping for better track conditions this weekend and to put on another great show. This year, CTCC’s participating manufacturers are: Acura, BMW, Honda, Hyundai, Mazda, MINI, Mitsubishi, Pontiac, Scionand Toyota.
