TORONTO, ON – For more than three decades, CSC Racing Products has been recognized as a top-level fabricator of car chassis and roll cages, as well as a leading Canadian retailer for motorsports safety equipment and race wear.
Catering to virtually every discipline of motorsport, it is easy to see why CSC Racing Products has been a firm supporter of the Canadian Motorsports Expo Powered by Inside Track Motorsport News since the show’s inception.
“It’s important for CSC – as an individual company – to be a part of the CME,” said Jennifer de Winter, co-owner (along with her husband Ralph) of CSC Racing Products. “But it’s even more vital for the industry to have a venue like the CME to showcase our products and services. As an industry that benefits from direct exposure to our customers, the Canadian Motorsports Expo is something that we need to be part of and support.”
The 8th Annual CME takes place February 7, 8 and 9, 2014 at Toronto’s International Centre, adjacent to Pearson International Airport.
Originally a stock car racing shop, CSC Racing Products has enjoyed significant growth over the years. From relatively humble beginnings, the fabrication portion of the business is kept humming through the manufacturing of race car frames, the custom building and installation of roll cages, and the repair and modification of stunt cars used in the local film industry. CSC’s handiwork can be found on racetracks from coast to coast, in Canada, and throughout the United States.
And as the company’s fabrication business grew, so did its retail operations. From this one-stop race shop, over 80,000 items from 600 suppliers are available to the racing public, either at CSC’s new location (as of December 1, 2013) at 1251 Gorham Street in Newmarket (ON), or via their secure, online shopping portal at www.cscracing.com.
Although the product lines carried by CSC are almost too numerous to mention, they offer a wide range of safety equipment, race wear and accessories. At the Canadian Motorsports Expo, CSC’s expert staff will educate showgoers about their manufacturing capabilities, but plan to focus primarily on the company’s retail division. As the Canadian distributor for Bell Helmets, they will share the booth with the helmet retailer, offering specials to customers interested in the head gear and the associated HANS restraints.
Concludes de Winter, “We deal with all levels of drivers, from professionals to Saturday night short-trackers. The one thing they have in common is the need for quality safety gear, and that’s where we excel. We have the products and the knowledge to meet any needs they might have.”
Welcoming CSC Racing Products to the 8th Annual CME, co-promoter Rob Morton said, “Jenn and Ralph are ‘day one’ supporters of the Canadian Motorsports Expo. CSC Racing Products offers excellent value and expert knowledge of everything they sell. Lots of people are in the business of selling things, but the team at CSC makes sure racers have access to what they need to go fast and stay safe. We’re very happy that they’re returning for the 8th Annual CME.”
ABOUT CSC RACING PRODUCTS: Founded in 1974 as Canadian Stock Car Products, CSC Racing Products has outgrown its roots as a stock car business, and obviously its name, to become an integral manufacturing associate of such racing divisions as the Honda Michelin, GM/ Players Challenge, Rothmans Porsche and Firestone Firehawk Series. While continuing to build and design parts and kits for the ‘KitCar’ industry, CSC Racing Products has, over the years, expanded its retail division to include product lines like Bell, HANS, AFCO, Wilwood, Longacre, Kirkey, Leaf and Allstar. Also in their catalogs are various accessories, ranging from Pyrometers, Camera Mounts, Tire Gauges and Decals.
