@NewHumberstone • @OhswekenSpdway • PORT COLBORNE, ON – Ohsweken Speedway’s Stricklands GMC Crate Sprint Car drivers will race away from their home track this Sunday for just the second time since the division’s inception in 2014.
The purse will also include a $500 winner’s prize and $100 to start this Sunday, June 26 at Humberstone Speedway in Port Colborne, Ontario. Pit gates open at 4:30pm, with racing beginning at 6:30pm. Pinty’s Delicious Foods will present the Crate Sprints plus the full Humberstone weekly show featuring DIRTcar Sportsman, RUSH Late Models, Street Stocks, Pro 4 Trucks and Mini Stocks.
The race will run entirely under Ohsweken Speedway’s Crate Sprint Car rulebook, including the gear rule. Gears and all other rules can and will be checked at any point throughout the night.
The Crate Sprints last ventured away from Ohsweken in September of 2014 when current Kool Kids-Corr/Pak 360 Sprint Car division rookie Jake Brown took the A-Feature win at South Buxton Raceway.
