MOORESVILLE, NC – JR Motorsports announced today a new partnership with Keen Parts Inc., a leading supplier of Corvette restoration parts. As an official partner, Keen Parts will receive branding on the decklid of Regan Smith’s No. 7 Chevrolet for the balance of the season, joining Smith on his bid for a Nationwide Series title run in 2013.

Owned by Tom and Teresa Keen and based out of Cleves, Ohio, Keen Parts specializes in Corvette restoration parts ranging from vintage 1953 models to customized accessories for today’s Corvettes. The company’s current inventory boasts more than 18,000 parts and accessories.

“We pride ourselves on supplying a wide variety of quality Corvette parts,” said Tom Keen. “To be able to partner with JR Motorsports and the Earnhardt family is really a wonderful opportunity to grow our company on a national level. Like the Earnhardts, the Keens have a longstanding relationship with Chevrolet, and we’re very excited to be teaming up on the track this season.”

Smith is currently tied for fifth in the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) standings after two races. His tenure at JR Motorsports began with a victory in last year’s finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The No. 7 team solidified its lineup with the addition of five-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion engineer Greg Ives as crew chief.

“We have been a Chevrolet family for more than 25 years. It’s who we are,” said JR Motorsports general manager Kelley Earnhardt Miller. “To bring Keen Parts on board – with their mutual passion for Corvettes and NASCAR – gives us the opportunity to build unique relationships with sports-car enthusiasts and every-day car people that share those same passions. From the car shows we’ve hosted at JR Motorsports annually since 2010, we’ve seen first-hand the overwhelming affinity for the Corvette. This new partnership with Tom and Teresa Keen will not only expand on that, but will hopefully raise significant awareness to the massive inventory of Corvette accessories and parts that they have.”

ABOUT JR MOTORSPORTS: Based in Mooresville, N.C., JR Motorsports is the management company and racing operation for Dale Earnhardt Jr., NASCAR’s 10-time Most Popular Driver and winner of more than 40 NASCAR-sanctioned races. JR Motorsports competes in multiple racing divisions, including the NASCAR Nationwide Series, in which it has earned 10 victories since its inception in 2007. In 2012 the JRM late model program won the track title at Motor Mile Speedway with driver Josh Berry, giving the company its first-ever championship.
