Earlier this month at the Motorama Custom Car and Motorsports Show, Chad Strawn unveiled his brand new OSCAAR Modified for the 2015 season.

The unveil was a success as sitting in the Eibach booth, the car caught everybody’s attention with plenty of attendees taking a closer look. The Mild 2 Wild wrap of the air cleaner, hood, scrub rails, bumpers and rims were topics of discussion. Many attendees were questioning more details about how it’s done, and the fact that the car looks slightly different from day to night due to the material used.

Needless to say, it looks as though the No. 77 Eibach and Mild 2 Wild Modified will be catching everybody’s attention all season long. Strawn is hoping to catch everybody’s attention while picking up victories across the province.

“We plan to run full OSCAAR schedule and have made some changes to commit us to it,” Strawn stated. “We should be very competitive this upcoming season.”

Strawn ran a partial OSCAAR schedule last year, having a lot of success with a pair of victories – Sunset Speedway and Kawartha Speedway.

“I felt we had a strong car for the races we attended,” he commented. “But like anything, we had our bad luck as well.”

While Strawn picked up the two victories and five top-six finishes, he also had a couple of poor showings as a result of getting caught in a couple of wrecks. Hopefully, those wrecks will be avoided in 2015 with more trips to the podium throughout the season.
