@PtboSpeedway • @OSCAARRacing • PETERBOROUGH, ON (August 3, 2015)- On Saturday night at Peterborough Speedway, Chad Strawn would run up front throughout the feature, crossing the finish line in the third spot.
Starting sixth in the feature, Strawn immediately began working at moving to the front of the field, running in the fourth spot at the halfway mark. He then continued his climb, moving up into the third spot. He would try to make his way up into the top-two spots, however contact would result in Strawn getting into the outside wall and knocking the toe out on the No. 77 Eibach/Kingsmen Kustoms Modified. He then held on over the course of the rest of the feature to finish third.
It marks Strawn’s fourth top-five and fifth top-10 finish in six OSCAAR races thus far this season as the S&S Racing driver continues to fight against the adversity that he has faced at each turn thus far this year.
With another solid finish under his belt, Strawn and co-driver Brad Stevenson will be focused on continuing the trend of success at Peterborough Speedway when the Ontario Modified Racing Series runs their seventh race of the season on August 15.
