Close to a dozen different racing divisions are getting ready to tackle Canada’s Toughest 3rd Mile Oval. The 30th annual APC Autumn Colours Classic, presented by Toronto Motorama will take the green flag October 6th through 8th at Peterborough Speedway.
Action gets underway Friday night with opening qualifying rounds. Preliminary heats for the Battlefield Equipment Rental Bone Stock, SwitchTire Mini Stock, Jiffy Lube Super Stock, Legend Car, OSCAAR Modifieds and Hot Rods will take centre stage and help set the field for Sunday afternoon’s main events.
The first night of this year’s APC Autumn Colours Classic will also include heat races and a feature event to determine the 2023 GEN-3 Electrical Ontario Modifieds Racing Series champion, as well as the first-ever Non-Winners Races for the Mini Stock and Super Stock divisions. Grandstand gates open at 5:00, with the weekend’s first green flag at 6:00.
Central Ontario’s only 3-day fall racing festival continues Saturday with a 3:30 start for the second round of qualifying. The first of the weekend’s 30-lap Canadian Legend Car features, plus heat races and features for the Kingsway Auto Centre Junior Late Model and Outlaw Midget teams will share the spotlight. The docket will also include last-chance Bone Stock and Mini Stock qualifiers along with KOD Disposal Late Model time trials for the Electric City 167.
With the first green flag at 12:30, the Sunday afternoon focus is on feature events, including the 67-lap Mini Stock ‘A’ main in memory of Melissa Bullen and Matt Spence and a full slate of headline shows that will crown the 2023 APC Autumn Colours Classic champions.

Advance sales are available by selecting the ‘buy tickets’ option on the track website. Fans can also purchase daily or weekend admission passes at the trackside ticket booth. Peterborough Speedway onsite ticket sales and concession stand purchases are cash only, with no debit, credit card options or ATM available.
Anyone entering the pit area during the APC Autumn Colours Classic will be required to present a completed 2023 pit admission waiver for insurance purposes. A quick-reference code is available on the track website and is also displayed at the pit gate entrance.
