(July 15, 2017) TORONTO, ON – Canada’s Best Racing Team (CBRT) was front and center at round number five of the NASCAR Pinty’s Series on the streets of Toronto on Saturday afternoon. Unveiling a new partnership with Larry Jackson piloting the Wonder Bread/Dunright Foam Inc/B&B Decals Dodge that quickly became a sensation at the track and on social media.
Veteran racer Jackson has proven his ability this season by climbing his way through the field at events and he planned to “Shake and Bake” his way around the track in Toronto in the #25 Wonder Bread/Dunright Foam Inc/B&B Decals Dodge. Teaming with Jackson this weekend was Brett Taylor in the #8 Piloti/CBRT/New Home Listing Services Dodge.
Crowds gathered around the #25 Wonder Bread/Dunright Foam Inc/B&B Decals Dodge and fans couldn’t get enough.
“It was so cool to see the amazing crowds that love the movie memories this scheme brought back,” said CBRT General Manager Joey McColm.
On the track Brett Taylor was making an impact too qualifying his #25 Wonder Bread/Dunright Foam Inc/B&B Decals Dodge in the eighth position. Unfortunately contact during the race would end his day early.
“I was battling with another car and there was some contact,” said Taylor, “totally my fault”.
Meanwhile Jackson in the #25 Wonder Bread/Dunright Foam Inc/B&B Decals Dodge had another strong outing as he gained eight spots during the race.
“Really good day all round” said McColm. “We had big crowds surrounding our team all weekend, a shame Brett had that trouble or he would have had another good result. Great job once again by Larry too” he added.
The CBRT drivers will now make the journey to Wyant Group Raceway in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan to begin the annual western swing on July 26th.
