PETERBOROUGH, ON (June 8, 2022) Bryan Cathcart and the #71 Cathcart Racing team return to action this weekend for round number three of the 2022 NASCAR Pinty’s Series.
The race takes place at the Autodrome Chaudière near Valley Jonction, Quebec and it will be the first ever visit for the racing veteran to the challenging track.
After a couple of weeks to prepare the #71 Cathcart Racing team is eager to get back into action on an oval track. While Cathcart has never raced at this tight little bullring, it bears similarities to other tracks where he’s had success.
In the season opening event at Sunset Speedway, Cathcart equaled his best Pinty’s Series result and looks to keep that momentum going forward at the next two races, both on ovals.
Quote:
“We had a decent showing in the season opener, we’ve learned a lot and I think we can take another step forward this weekend. I’ve heard it’s a track you can race hard on and that should be a lot of fun. And to race at a new track is always exciting. There are great race fans in Quebec and we’re looking forward to putting on a show for them. -Bryan Cathcart, Driver #71 Dodge
