DELAWARE, ON (September 26, 2022) Bryan Cathcart and the #71 Cathcart Racing Team showed incredible strength from start to finish at Delaware Speedway for the NASCAR Pinty’s Series final race of the season, the Pinty’s Fall Brawl.
Cathcart was pleased with how the car performed in practice and was sure the #71 would hold up during the 250-lap race. He remained consistent throughout the race and made sure to push a little harder as the race moved on and the field became smaller and smaller due to incidents on track.
The race was a feisty affair with lots of action and Cathcart managed to avoid most of the incidents. He was collected and got turned around but quickly righted himself and kept plugging away. The #71 Cathcart Racing teams’ strategy of consistency being key definitely played a large factor in Bryans success and amazing climb through the field where he gained an impressive 14 positions.
All in all, Cathcart is happy with how they closed out the season, starting 27th and finishing 13th. This wouldn’t have been possible without the hard working and motivated team working alongside him at every race.
Bryan Cathcart Quote:
“We had a very good race to finish up the season at Delaware. There was lots of action, that’s for sure. Guys were pushing pretty hard right from the start, so we just tried to keep up a steady pace. I did get caught up in one little incident, but it didn’t hurt us too bad. Once again, this group of guys we have, they just have such a positive attitude and give it all they have. I want to thank everyone for their effort all season. A big thank you to my wife and family for their support. And of course, to all the fans that came out this season. Good crowds and a good field of cars at every race”.
