Calabogie, ON- June is shaping up to be another busy month for Calabogie Motorsport Park, with both two and four-wheel activities filling the calendar for the 20-turn, 5.05-kilometre Ottawa Valley facility.
For the motorcycle crowd, the Track Fever Race Weekend (June 15/16) will be bookended with seven days reserved for Pro 6 Cycle lapping experiences. Dates and application forms for the Pro 6 events can be found on their website, www.pro6cycle.com or calling, toll-free (866) 789-7766, or by going through the link on the Calabogie Park website.
The CMP Formula Libre Series will take over the facility for its second appearance of the year on June 21, this event running from 5-7:00 p.m. One day later, June 22, the Metroland GT Challenge Race #3 will be the featured event on the CMP short track, this contest also beginning at 5:00 p.m.
Interspaced among the lapping and race days are dates reserved for the track’s CMP Mustang Experience. A great Father’s Day Gift idea, these driving adventures are available in either half or full-day packages, the guests circulating the technical Calabogie circuit in fully track-ready, Mustang GT cars under the guidance of qualified instructors.
Motorsports fans are reminded to mark their calendars for the Ted Powell Memorial Race Weekend (August 24/25) featuring a full slate of CASC Regional competition with races for Formula 1200, 1600 and Libre cars, as well as contests for GT Challenge, GT Sprints and Vintage racers.
