The CSC Racing Products sale originally scheduled for this coming Saturday (Dec. 10) has been cancelled. Please help spread the word so that people don’t show up.
Yesterday (Monday), upon hearing of the sale, representatives of Pete’s Automotive and Bicknell Racing Products contacted CSC owner Jennifer De Winter and soon came to an agreement to purchase the company, its lines (including Bell Helmets) and its manufacturing equipment and tools.
Jennifer’s husband and partner in the business, Ralph De Winter, passed suddenly two months ago.
The sale to Pete’s Auto / BRP is the best outcome to a tragic situation, and will see Ralph’s legacy continue.
“Last night, we finalized a deal with Pete’s Automotive and Bicknell Racing Products (BRP) to purchase both ‘the front’ and ‘the back’ of ‘the house’ (CSC Racing Products),” said Jennifer De Winter.
“Pete’s Automotive will take on the Bell (helmet) line and continue on retailing that line, and Bicknell Racing Products will take over the manufacturing side and continue with roll cages, ChumpCars, Miata roll bars and all of the good things that we did in ‘the back’ of the house.”
We’ll have more on this in the next issue of Inside Track.
