CATHARINES, Ontario – (January 2, 2014) With an every track … every race customer service philosophy, Bicknell Racing Products continues to lead the way with race team support that is second to none. Drivers and Teams looking to get a head start on the 2014 season can do so at the annual Open House Saturday January 18th at BRP’s manufacturing and Canadian Retail Headquarters in St. Catharines Ontario beginning at 9 AM.
“At BRP – customer service is a priority,” relays Bicknell Racing Products’ Randy Williamson, “whether it’s during the off season at our Open House or at a Trade Show … week in and week out during the summer or at a Series or Special Event. We look forward to seeing everyone this year when we play host to an Open Panel Discussion featuring several Industry leaders. Everyone can look forward to learning as they share their vast knowledge and experience.”
FREE Seminars throughout the day begin at 10 AM when Scott Jeffrey, Scott Keyser, Billy Dunn and Mike Payne are featured in a Q&A Session. The four panelists alone bring a considerable amount to the event and combined – their insights will provide benefits to all attending.
Panelists include:
– Scott Jeffrey is Team Manager of Gypsum Racing – one that fields Big Block and 358 Modifieds, Late Models and Sprint Cars for drivers including Billy Decker, Pat Ward and Larry Wight

“We are proud once again to be able to bring our distinguished panelists together,” said Williamson, “Scott (Keyser) looks forward to discussing the importance of shocks and when you combine that with the others – the time will be well spent and informative for all.”
Another FREE Session will feature Williamson, Ted Curvin and Pete Bicknell discussing Race Car Adjustments and balance with Bicknell himself sharing suggestions on topics including how to compensate for changing track conditions and ill-handling race cars.

Throughout the day – long event beginning at 9 AM at BRP’s St. Catharines Ontario retail and manufacturing headquarters, there will be many Open House Specials in conjunction with their family of suppliers in addition to a FREE Lunch.

US Customers unable to make it to attend the Open House in Canada can look for the same Specials at the US Retail location – 1733 Maryland Avenue in Niagara Falls NY from 9 to Noon.
“Customers heading home after the Open House can also make arrangements to pick up purchases at our US location later in the day,” informs BRP US’ Pete Ames.
“With the Christmas Holidays just behind us … our event will get everyone back in the racing mode,” relates BRP’s Bob Slack, “it’s always a great day to catch up with all our friends – from dirt and asphalt alike!”
Team BRP drivers continue to win more features than any other Chassis Manufacturer in Big Block Modified … 358 Modified or Sportsman in DIRTcar … RoC and everything in between – scoring 679 wins – leading to more than 43 Track and Series Titles in 2013.
Danny Johnson was first to visit Victory Lane opening Speedweeks in Florida with a win during the DIRTcar Winternationals at Volusia Speedway Park leading to Team BRP’s final 2013 win December 21st scored by Peter Forbes at Perth Motorplex in Kwinana Beach in Australia.
It was in the land down under that David Clark scored Team BRP’s first 2014 Victory at the Supercheap Auto Archerfield Speedway in Queensland in the Paul Britten Memorial 44.
Johnson would ride the win to the DIRTcar Nationals Title and before season’s end – Brad Rouse would take a dominating Super DIRT Week Sportsman Win to his first Mr. DIRT Title. Jordan Watson and Duane Howard would be crowned Champions in the Sportsman and 358 Divisions in the American Racer Cup respectively while Chad Brachmann would take home the BRP Modified Tour Championship in 2013 with Claude Hutchings Jr. the RoC Sportsman Champion.
