Brandon Watson Is Hoping To Rebound With A Strong Performance At Berlin Raceway On May 31st

STAYNER, ON- Just days after a disappointing DNF at Illiana Motor Speedway, Brandon Watson and team are ready to return to the ARCA/CRA Super Series for the Berlin 125 presented by AutoWorldFinancial.com.

“I’d be lying if I said our outing at Illiana didn’t bother me”, admitted Watson. “We’re better than that. Our team is capable of running in the top-5 on this tour, and anytime you don’t get a chance to showcase that is a huge disappointment”

“At the same time, there’s not much you can do to prevent a parts failure”, continued the third-generation star. “We don’t have time to beat ourselves up over it. All we can do is get back in the shop, get our car put back together and get ready to turn in a solid run at Berlin”

Watson is eager to return to the form that earned him a 4th place finish at Anderson Speedway on April 26th, and knows an impressive performance at Berlin could help turn his season around.

“We’ve had a couple weeks in which our result on the score sheet was not at all indicative of how we were”, explained Watson. “It’s frustrating, for sure. Because we had a great car at Toledo and had engine troubles, then we were anticipating a strong run at Illiana when our brake caliper bracket broke”

“This weekend is important for us to come home with a good finish. Our team needs the shot in the arm, and we’d love more than anything to show the rest of this roster what we’re capable of”
