Canadian racer Brad Ranson is set to take the next major step in his driving career, announcing his entry into the 2026 NASCAR Canada Series. Ranson will make his series debut at the season-opening event on Sunday, May 17th at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.
Ranson’s 2026 schedule will feature a select slate of high-profile events, including races at Calabogie Motorsports Park, the Markham Indy, a return to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park on Labour Day weekend, and the season finale at Delaware Speedway.
Piloting the No. 28 Chevrolet Camaro, Ranson will compete with cars prepared by DJK Racing, one of the most respected teams in the paddock.
“I’m super excited to work with DJK Racing,” said Ranson. “DJ is a two-time champion and well respected in the garage. We always want to work with the best.”
The 2026 season marks a significant leap forward for Ranson, whose career momentum has been building following two strong campaigns in the Super Production Challenge. Competing in the Super Production class, Ranson established himself as a consistent front-runner and one of the series’ emerging talents.

Now expanding his racing portfolio, Ranson will also compete internationally in the NASCAR Euro Series with Speedhouse, further accelerating his development on the global stage.
“The NASCAR Euro opportunity came after a test in February,” Ranson explained. “The lap times were great and by the end of the test I had three teams interested in having me join. I chose to be part of Speedhouse because of their record of success.”
Balancing both North American and European commitments, Ranson is preparing for a demanding but exciting season ahead.

“It’s definitely going to be a busy summer with lots of travel, but I’m excited about it,” he said. “I want to continue to grow my career and put our partners in the spotlight of the best racing series around.”
With some prior experience at several tracks on the schedule, Ranson is focused on maximizing seat time and adapting quickly to the NASCAR Canada machinery.
“Having raced at some of the tracks will help, but we want to get as many laps in as possible to learn about these cars in the NASCAR Canada Series,” he added. “We can’t wait to get started.”
Ranson’s efforts in 2026 are supported by Wallace Chevrolet in Milton, ON, and Best Deal Print Solutions, GMH UV and Komcan/Komori, partners who continue to play a key role in his progression through the ranks of motorsport.
The 2026 NASCAR Canada Series season opener at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park marks the beginning of what promises to be a pivotal year for one of Canada’s most promising racing talents.
