@Sunset_Speedway • Stroud, ON (May 20)- On Sunday in his first trip of the season to Sunset Speedway, Bobby Tolton would have a strong run, posting a sixth place finish in the Hoosier Spring Velocity.
Tolton would start off the afternoon on a solid note, finishing third and fifth in his pair of heats behind the wheel of the No. 35t Smokin’ Tony Bar-B-Que/Engines From Hal Mini Stock. As a result, he would start third in the feature. On the drop of the green flag, the leader would get away, but Tolton was able to stay even with Jordan Howse for second. The pair would battle back and forth for the next couple of laps, with Tolton getting the spot on lap three. Tolton would fall back to third the next lap, virtue of a pass by Andy Kamrath.
Tolton would run solidly in the top three over the next four laps, before dropping back to fifth as a result of being passed by Brandon McFerran and Danny Benedict. Tolton would keep himself solidly in fifth till the first caution flew at lap 19 for a car around in turn two.
The restart would bring a battle with Warren Paxton for the fifth spot, with Tolton coming out on the losing end as he fell back to sixth. He would catch back up to Paxton, but was unable to complete the pass, crossing the finish line to finish sixth in the feature.

With a solid performance in the books, BMR hopes to take the mini stock back to Full Throttle Motor Speedway and return to victory lane, just as they did in March.
Meanwhile, the Runalung.ca 100 that was supposed to be held on Friday, May 8 was postponed till the Saturday May 30 at Full Throttle Motor Speedway. Tolton will look to have a strong run in the No. 3 New Generation Products Lucas Oil Sportsman Cup Series car to kick off the season on a high note. Besides, the event touches a very special spot for the team. Run Alung was created by Kayla Baker and now continues in her memory as she passed away in January of 2014.
