FREDERICTON, NB – (August 10th, 2020) – The following are Quick Results from the Best of the Best Pro Stock 150 and Urquhart Construction Street Stock 75 weekend at Speedway 660 in Geary, New Brunswick.
Ashton Tucker (Lyttleton, NB) was the winner in the Best of the Best Pro Stock 150 on Saturday evening for the RE/MAX East Coast Elite Realty Pro Stocks. Lonnie Sommerville (Barnesville, NB) was second with Cole Butcher (Hantsport, NS) third in the 19 car field. Logan Power (Riverview, NB – Atlantic Modified Tour) and Kyle Boudreau (Saint John, NB – Fredericton Gun Shop Sharp Shooters) took home support class features.
Reigning DMR Auto Street Stock champion Chris Hanley (St. Stephen, NB) raced to the victory in the Urquhart Construction Street Stock 75 on a hot Sunday afternoon. Rick Cashol (Saint John, NB) and Riley Goodwin (McAdam, NB) raced hard for the runner-up spot with the experience of Cashol edging out the youth of Goodwin for the spot. BJ Gillespie (Harvey, NB – Fredericton Gun Shop Sharp Shooters) and Curtis Collins (Barnesville, NB – Martin’s Home Heating Sportsman) were the winners in the support class features.
The next racing event at Speedway 660 takes place on Saturday, August 22nd as the Fredericton Gun Shop Sharp Shooters will take to the track for the second annual Gunslinger 50 presented by Fairview Jeep Ram and Fredericton Gun Shop. All four house classes will be in action. Racing begins at 6:30pm.
