Two-time NASCAR Canadian Tire Series champion Andrew Ranger, will compete in the 2012 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series driving the GC Motorsports International (GCMI) #27 Dodge Charger. GCMI is excited to announce Dodge Dealers of Quebec have come on board to partner in a season long sponsorship of the talented French Canadian driver. Ranger will get the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series season underway with the Vortex Brake Pads 200 race on May 19-20 on the 2.5-mile road course at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, formerly Mosport International Raceway in Bowmanville, Ontario.

As part of the agreement, Dodge Dealers of Quebec will be the Primary Sponsor of all three Quebec races including the Montreal race in August, and will remain an Associate Sponsor for the remainder of the 2012 NASCAR Canadian Tires Series. Dodge Dealers of Quebec are proud to sponsor the Roxton Pond Quebec native who will be looking for his 3rd NASCAR Canadian Tire Series Championship.

“We are thrilled to team up with Andrew Ranger in his pursuit to win another NASCAR Canadian Tire Series Championship, we are proud to be a sponsor of Andrew Ranger and GCMI,” said Jean Gosselin, President of the Quebec Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge-Ram Dealers Advertising Co-op. “We are honoured to be associated with the highest ranking French Canadian driver in the 2012 NASCAR Series. Andrew has a tremendous amount of talent and determination and our Dodge dealers know all about striving to be the best.”

Running three full seasons in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series to date, Andrew won the title twice with a record of five poles, eight wins, 20 top-5 and 31 top-10 finishes. This season, he will run full-time in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series as well as part time in the NASCAR Nationwide Series with GCMI.

“I am happy with the faith entrusted in me by GCMI, Québec Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge-Ram Dealers Co-op,” Andrew Ranger said. “I know the Canadian Tire Series tracks well, and look forward to competing in front of a home town crowd. With a Dodge Charger being prepared for me and their backing, I feel like I’m on track for another series championship.”
